Meteorological center announced weather forecast for November

The Roshydromet (Russian Met Office) announced a weather forecast for November. The chief weather forecaster of the country, Roman Vilfand, told RIA Novosti that in the last month of autumn throughout Russia, the temperatures would be near or above normal, and the rainfall would be close to regular values.

According to him, the most significant positive deviations from the norm are predicted in Chukotka and Kamchatka, in Yakutia, the Magadan Region, and the Khabarovsk Territory. The temperature below normal will be observed in the north-west of Russia: in the Arkhangelsk Region and the Komi Republic.

“The temperature will be near normal in the European territory of Russia but towards positive values,” said Wilfand. “The precipitation regime throughout the country will be close to normal. There will be plenty of precipitation everywhere, but most of all, in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia, the Kemerovo Region, and the south of Yakutia, the Amur Region. ”

Earlier, according to a probabilistic forecast of the weather for the heating period, the Met Office reported that the average monthly temperature in Bashkiria in November should be -4.2 C. According to past years, snow cover in the republic establishes since November 7-10.

Long-term forecasts are not accurate; they have a probability of 58-81%, meteorologists specify.
