Plane from Istanbul made unscheduled landing in Ufa

On October 21, a plane flying the Istanbul - Koltsovo (Yekaterinburg) route made an unscheduled landing in the capital of Bashkiria. The captain of the aircraft owned by Turkish Airlines asked the dispatchers to allow landing on the runway of the nearest airport due to adverse weather conditions in the capital of the Urals.

The press service of the Yekaterinburg airport confirmed that on Monday some flights were delayed and directed to alternate aerodromes due to freezing rain and an icy runway.
