2020 is officially declared Year of Local Beautification in Bashkiria

The Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov signed a Decree according to which the year of 2020 is declared the Year of Local Beautification in the republic.

The document is aimed at creating conditions for comfortable living of the population, increasing the level of improvement and forming the aesthetic appearance of the settlements in Bashkiria - lawns, sidewalks, fences, lighting.

According to the Decree, the government of the republic must approve the composition of the organizing committee and the action plan for the Year of Local Beautification, and the administration of municipal districts and urban districts - create local organizing committees, develop appropriate plans and carry out activities.

Public associations should promote activities in improving and creating a favorable living environment.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that Radiy Khabirov proposed topics for the year of 2020.

"We have a proposal to devote the year to not some abstract things, but to something concrete, understandable that would be countable and really meet the interests of residents. We have analyzed the appeals of citizens and what they care about. The environment is vital - landscaping, a comfortable environment in cities, in villages, ”said the head of the republic.
