Radiy Khabirov took part in meeting of Presidential Council on National Projects

On October 14, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov took part in a meeting of the Presidium of the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and National Projects, which was held by videoconference by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. During the meeting, the progress of the national projects “Healthcare” and “Demography” in subjects of the Russian Federation.

“This is the problem of kindergartens, and the opportunity to receive quality medical care”, Dmitry Medvedev emphasized.

Speaking about the situation in the field of demography, the Prime Minister noted that the issue of creating additional places in the kindergartens remains relevant. Thus, in 2019, only 25 thousand places were created in the country, which is less than one-third of the planned indicator. Another measure of support - preferential mortgages for parents - is also not being implemented sufficiently.

Among the key tasks in healthcare, Dmitry Medvedev singled out a reduction of mortality from heart attacks, strokes, and other circulatory diseases by almost a quarter, as well as the construction of rural health posts in small towns.
