More than 800 thousand residents of Bashkiria had flu vaccinations

Currently, a seasonal increase in the incidence of acute respiratory infections is recorded in the territory of the republic, and flu was not registered yet. The incidence rate remains below the epidemic threshold, Rospotrebnadzor reports.

A vaccination campaign against influenza is underway in the republic. Vaccines against influenza received 19.7% of the population of the republic - 801 916 people, of which more than 177 thousand - children.

Available influenza vaccines protect against strains of the virus that are most relevant in this epidemiological season, experts say.
