Bashkiria entered Top 5 leading regions in support of socially-oriented non-profits

Bashkiria was included in the Top 5 leading regions for supporting socially-oriented non-profit entities. The rating was compiled by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the ANO “Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects” based on the results of support mechanisms implementation for socially oriented non-profit organizations and social entrepreneurship in 2018. The republic took 5th place, having risen by 3 points.

Bashkiria ranks first in the share of non-governmental organizations of social services. The region is third in the average share of social workers employed in non-governmental organizations. The republic took 9th place in the share of municipalities implementing measures to support social entrepreneurship.
