Bashkir ski resort "Abzakovo" entered the Top 3 best snowboarding places in the rating of the TurStat website. The rating is based on an online survey. The audience of snowboarding fans in Russia is over 3 million people, mostly young people under 30 years old.

The top ten Russian resorts for snowboarding this winter included the Rosa Khutor resort and the Krasnaya Polyana resort (formerly Gorky Gorod) in Sochi, Abzakovo in Bashkiria, Sheregesh in the Kemerovo region, Belokurikha in Altai Territory, Arkhyz and Dombai in Karachay-Cherkessia, Sorochany in the Moscow Region, Chusovoi in the Perm Territory, Big Wood in the Murmansk Region, Belaya Gora in the Sverdlovsk Region, Zavyalikha in the Chelyabinsk Region, Igora in the Leningrad region and Sviyazhsky Hills in Tatarstan.
