Radiy Khabirov proposed to hold 2020 as Local Beautification Year

The Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov proposed topics for the year 2020. “During the seminar, we consulted with the heads of municipalities - we have a proposal to devote the year to not some abstract things, but to something concrete, understandable that would be countable and really meet the interests of residents. We have analyzed the appeals of citizens and what they care about. The environment is vital - landscaping, a comfortable environment in cities, in villages. Therefore, there is a proposal to call the “Year of Local Beautification: Lawns, Pavements, Lighting, Fences." Appearance is essential, it creates confidence that we live in a place where everything is in order”, said the Head of the republic.

“From this year I expect more initiative from the part of the residents. We will increase funding to those municipalities where there will be more active feedback. People themselves went out to make fences - which means we will give them funds for something else. Already now, it is necessary to calculate the budget, as it will require small additional transfers to the municipalities. The main thing is the initiative of the residents, just like in the “Green Bashkiria” campaign”, Radiy Khabirov reminded.
