Radiy Khabirov proposed to include tree planting in "Bashkir Courtyards" program

The Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov commended the results of the campaign on planting large-sized trees “Green Bashkiria” held on October 5.
The campaign was organized on the eve of the celebration of Republic Day and brought together 138 thousand people who planted 69 thousand different trees in one day. Of these, 38 thousand are large-sized.
245 thematic alleys appeared in the republic. The total area of landscaped land pre-defined for planting trees amounted to 146 hectares.
Meanwhile, as the head of the republic noted, the creation of new alleys and squares in the cities and villages of the republic was good, but not sufficient. It is important to landscape the yards, and not just make pavements and create sports grounds.
“Let's plant trees in the courtyards so that people can see it and enjoy it”, he suggested. “Landscaping should become an obligatory element of the republican program “Bashkir Courtyards” being implemented now”, the head of the republic said.
In general, due to the spring and autumn "Green Bashkiria" campaign-2019, 178 thousand new trees were planted in the region on an area of more than 360 hectares. 409 thematic alleys were arranged. The number of participants in the campaign exceeded 300 thousand people.
