Bank stabilization works of Belaya River in Ufa are near completion

Reconstruction works of the embankment of the Belaya River are nearing completion. This is one of the largest infrastructure projects in recent years in Ufa.

According to the press service of the city mayor’s office, today the construction works on the section from the railway to the automobile bridges have been completed, and improvement is continuing. Works are underway on the commissioning of facilities and the preparation of relevant documents.

“The finishing details touches are being taken to improve the site from the railway bridge to the Yunost sports complex. The territory is open for visiting. Ufa residents and guests of the city can see and evaluate the appeared walking areas with sidewalks, an amphitheater, running and bicycle paths, lawns and so on. I advise you to take a walk in the evening, when the illumination of the original lighting poles, benches is turned on. After the reconstruction is completed, the embankment will certainly become one of the attractions of Ufa and a place for recreation for citizens and guests of the capital of the republic,” said Arseniy Murtazin, director of the Bashkir branch of JSC “Hydroremont VKK” PJSC RusHydro.

Reconstruction of the facility began in 2014. The creation of the embankment with a total length of almost 5 km includes the construction of hydraulic structures and roads, as well as landscaping.
