Long-living persons are counted in Bashkiria

Of the 1.2 million pensioners in Bashkiria, currently, 143 thousand people crossed the 80-year mark, according to the Pension Fund Department for the region.

“Of the 176 long-livers of Bashkiria 82 pensioners celebrated their centenary this year”, stated Foat Khantimerov, managing director of the Pension Fund RF for the region.

“This year, expenses on the payment of pensions and monthly cash payments amounted to 169 billion rubles in the republic. Upon reaching the age of 80, pensioners acquire the right to receive an increased pension. The fixed payment to the old-age insurance pension, set at 5,334.19 rubles, doubles upon reaching 80 years and amounts to 10,668.38 rubles. It is not required to address the management of the Pension Fund for the recalculation of the pension, it is done automatically”, explained the head of the Department of the Pension Fund for Bashkiria.
