Bashkiria residents will have additional day off in October

Residents of Bashkiria will have an “extra” day off in honor of the Republic Day celebration.

As the Ministry of Labor explained, in accordance with the republican law dated February 27, 1992 “On holidays and memorable days in the Republic of Bashkortostan” October 11 - Republic Day - the Day of adoption of the Declaration on State Sovereignty of the BASSR - is a non-working holiday.

This year, a non-working holiday on October 11 falls on Friday. On Thursday, October 10, working hours are reduced by one hour.

The non-working holiday on October 11 - Republic Day - is not included in the number of calendar days of leave when providing an annual basic or annual additional paid leave according to the article of the Labor Code of Russia.
