Megaphone launched high-speed 4G internet in thinly populated settlements of Bashkiria

Megaphone’s LTE base stations started functioning in nine settlements RB. In some of them 4G internet is launched for the first time. At present time Megaphone 4G internet is accessible for 68% of Bashkiria’s residents. “Widening of LTE network coverage is one of our prior directions in the Republic. It already covers the majority of local towns and regional centers. We’ve launched our network in several settlements with population from 200 to 2000 people and thanks to installation of base 4G stations local residents of these settlements get access to modern technologies and services, provided by high-speed data transference of our company” – director of Megaphone division in Bashkortostan Damir Baigildin says.
