Number of budget places at colleges planned to be widened in Bashkiria

According to forecasts by 2025 Bashkiria can face serious shortage of budget places at local colleges, Ministry for education RB reported. “Taking present demographic situation into account we need additional three thousand budget places, including 400 – in health care sphere, and such step demands additional funding in amount of 191 million rubles” – acting Minister for education RB Aibulat Khazin stated. The head of Bashkortostan Radi Khabirov has already charged to analyze this situation and to discuss this problem in a month again. News agency “Bashinform” has already reported the Republican Ministry for education offers to open additional Republican grants for local colleges. The Ministry offers to introduce 10 grants, 5 million rubles each, spending this money for improving the infrastructure of the colleges, performing social functions.
