Bashkiria won two golden medals at “Apimondia” in Canadian Montreal

Bashkiria won two golden medals at “Apimondia” in Canadian Montreal, Vice-President of bee-keeping Association Sergey Mylukov reported to “Bashinform”. Lime-tree honey from Iglinsky region RB (bee-keeper Vladimir Kuteiko) won a golden medal for high quality. Bashkir decorative wax candles also won the gold. “Our Association is the only organization in Russia, which wins golden medals at the fourth “Apimondia” congress for quality of honey with no break! Bashkir bee-keepers won the highest awards in Ukraine in 2013, in South Korea in 2015, in Turkey in 2017 and in Canada in 2019” – Sergey Mylukov said. The first international bee-keeping congress has taken place in 1897 in Brussels. International Federation of bee-keeping associations “Apimondia” was founded in 1949 during the XIII international bee-keeping congress in Amsterdam. Today it unites 118 beekeeping unions from 82 countries and its main goal is assistance to scientific, technical and economic development of bee-keeping in all countries. Russian Ministry for agriculture and Russian national union of bee-keepers are the members of “Apimondia” from Russia. The 47th congress will take place in 2021 in Bashkortostan.
