Today, Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov visited the Hospital No. 13 of the city of Ufa. The chief physician of the medical institution Elsa Syrtlanova told him that the area of "Smart Reception" was conventionally divided into three zones: green, yellow and red. Patients who need resuscitation and surgery, their condition is serious, fall into the red zone. According to statistics, they are accounted for about 10 percent. Patients in need of resuscitation are in the yellow zone - about 30 percent, about 60 percent of patients, who are ambulant, and there is no threat to life are in the green zone.
Interim Minister of Health Maxim Zabelin noted that the approximate cost of a “smart reception department” ranged from 500 million to 1 billion rubles, including operating rooms and heavy equipment. This is another level of medical services, which allows quickly determining the treatment approach of emergency patients, routing patients, improving the conditions in the reception ward.
“Such centers are already being created at large hospitals, the leaders are St. Petersburg and Moscow, and similar centers also operate in Volgograd, Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Elista. In Bashkortostan, smart reception rooms are being implemented at the existing premises of republican and city hospitals”, said Maxim Zabelin.
This year, the oncological outpatient care center began to operate at the 13th hospital; in total, 13 such inter-municipal centers will be created in the republic.
As part of the national project “Fighting Cardiovascular Diseases”, the 13th hospital received two new portable ultrasound units in the summer.
A universal scanner allows conducting ultrasound examinations directly at the patient’s bedside in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care and the Department of Resuscitation and Intensive Care.
