Russian Pediatric Surgical Forum is held in Ufa this time

On September 3, Ufa for the first time hosts the large-scale Forum of Pediatric Surgeons of Russia and the first Russian-Chinese Congress. More than 400 delegates from the regions of the country, China, the USA, and Germany arrived in the capital of Bashkiria. According to the deputy of the State Duma, children's surgeon of the highest category Dmitry Morozov, the first such forum was held in 2002. Today this is the fifth event in the field of pediatric surgery.

“Not for the sake of a witty remark, but thoracoscopic surgery appeared here ahead of other places. Bashkir doctors were the first not only in Russia but also in the world in performing thoracoscopic operations on children”.

According to the State Duma deputy and member of the committee on health protection, today the pediatric surgery has issues that need to be raised and addressed. In particular, the strengthening of national associations.

According to the Acting Minister of Health of Bashkiria Maxim Zabelin, the forum will primarily enrich the republic with knowledge and discoveries.

“The scientific and practical part of the forum is also provided. Colleagues from federal centers and foreign countries will visit our leading medical institutions: the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital, the perinatal center, a number of clinics and the clinic of Bashkir State Medical University, ”said Maxim Zabelin.

Today, the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria is working on updating the technical equipment. Almost all children's clinics are being repaired this year; the reconstruction of hospital departments is planned for next year.

The fifth Forum of Pediatric Surgeons of Russia will also be attended by the chairman of the Presidium of the Russian Association of Pediatric Surgeons Alexander Razumovsky, director of the Research Institute of Pediatric Surgery of the N.I. Pirogov RNRMU Vladimir Rozinov, member of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy Vladimir Krugly.

The event will end on September 5, where in addition to scientific, practical, and theoretical conclusions, the winners of the young scientist competition will be determined.
