New pedestrian zone and walking route will be created in Ufa center

The issue of creating a pedestrian zone in Ufa was again raised today at the opening of the “Eco-Bereg” International Architectural Festival. During a tour of the festival venue, the head of the Art Kvadrat project, Rim Bikmaev, said that there was an idea to make an exit from the Art Kvadrat area to Mustai Karim Street, which should be freed from traffic. On the opposite side of the street, the Khakimov Mosque is being built, next to which a public garden will be located. Further, the pedestrian path will go to Karl Marx Street through the arch, and from there - to the Philharmonic Society in Gogol Street. To do this, the old building, which prevents the passage, will be demolished. Thus, another route attractive for city dwellers will appear in Ufa.
