Rehabilitation complexes for children after severe limb injuries will start operating in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, within the framework of the “Healthcare” national project, rehabilitation complexes for children after severe limb injuries will be launched. They will appear at eleven medical organizations of the republic - in Ufa in the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital and Children's Hospital No. 17, in Sterlitamak, Beloretsk, Birsk, Mesyagutovo, Neftekamsk, Salavat, Kumertau, Sibay, and Oktyabrsky.

According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Health, the first sets of rehabilitation equipment have already begun to arrive in the republic.

The complex itself is a special type of simulator, which can be used by both adults and children. The device helps to develop a joint and restore its normal movement, which will avoid complications after operations and injuries.

In 2019, Bashkiria will spend 5 billion rubles on the implementation of the national Healthcare project. At the expense of budget funds in the region, it is planned to replace the network of rural healthcare stations in dilapidated condition. Eight contracts in the amount of over 300 million rubles have been concluded for the re-equipment of the vascular departments. The equipment is being delivered to medical facilities. Oncology departments of the republic will also receive equipment worth 257 million rubles.
