All-Russian Ecological Campaign “Live, Forest!” will be held in Bashkiria

The Federal Forestry Agency holds the All-Russian Autumn Campaign “Live, Forest!” from September 1 to October 31, 2019.

“All municipalities will host events related to the“ Live, Forest!” campaign in the year of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Bashkortostan. We will plant the forest, clean it of debris, take care of the forest planting, collect seeds, and hold educational events and exhibitions, ” said the Minister of Forestry RB, Marat Sharafutdinov.

The central event will be held in the territory of the Arkhangelskoe forestry on September 6. In villages and towns of Bashkiria, they also organize plantings, create alleys and squares. During the campaign “Live, Forest!”, It is planned to create about 30 hectares of forest crops on the lands of the forest fund, to take care of forest crops on an area of ​​325 hectares, to conduct garbage collection on 50 hectares, as well as to clean 200 hectares of the forest ​​. The campaign will be attended by more than 20 thousand people (employees of state authorities and local self-government, forestry employees, students of educational institutions, volunteers). Forestry staff will conduct classes and lessons in schools. In addition to foresters, everyone can take part in the planting. Experienced foresters will monitor the planting process of seedlings, as well as render assistance.
