Ufa hosts All-Russian Congress on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics

These days the 12th All-Russian Congress on the Fundamental Problems of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics is held in Ufa. Russian President Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the forum participants. The text of the telegram was published on the Kremlin website on Tuesday.

Forums of mechanical scientists from Russia and the CIS countries play a significant role in the development of advanced areas of the sector and allow specialists to discuss industry problems, the head of state marked.

The forum will continue in the capital of Bashkiria until August 24. The program of the congress includes the Fourth All-Russian School of Young Mechanic Scientists and a session of the General Meeting of the Russian National Committee on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.

The organizers of the event are the Russian National Committee on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics together with the Institute for Metals Superplasticity Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Bashkir State University, Ufa State Aviation Technical University, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University, M. Akmulla Bashkir State Pedagogical University, R.R. Mavlyutov Institute of Mechanics UFIC RAS ​​with the support of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, the Government of Bashkortostan and the Academy of Sciences RB.
