Kurban Halal Fest was held in Ufa

The republican holiday Kurban Halal Fest was held on the square in front of the Bashkiria Lifestyle Center, as well as in Vatan Park in Ufa.

Sports competitions and a concert took place here with the participation of stars of the Bashkir pop art, creative teams of Ufa and Bashkiria. Festival guests could purchase goods at the halal fair and taste a delicious pilaf with lamb, the city hall reported.

The holiday was organized by the regional public organization for the support and development of socially significant projects, the “Ferz Business Club”, with the support of the Ufa City Hall, the “Salyam” Charitable Foundation, the International Association of Islamic Business, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia.
