Chinese TV crew is filming report about Ufa as part of Volga-Yangtze format

A film crew of the Anhui Provincial Television (PRC) is paying a working visit to Ufa. The Chinese colleagues intend to make a series of reports on the culture of the Russian regions, collaborating with Anhui, and about their countrymen doing business in Russia. They will also visit St. Petersburg and Moscow. In 2017, Bashkiria and Anhui concluded agreements in the framework of cooperation between the regions of the Volga Federal District and the provinces of the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River (the Volga-Yangtze format).

According to Arthur Valeev, deputy head of the Press and Media Agency of Bashkiria, in Ufa, a group of four employees of the Anhui TV will visit the editorial office of the Republic of Bashkortostan newspaper, BST channel, Eurocara Plus company - the official Russian distributor of JAC forklifts manufactured in Anhui.

In May 2018, the BST hosted the Anhui Television Week, showing documentaries such as “The History of E-Commerce Development in Anhui Province”, “Typical Food of the North of Anhui Province”, “Learning about Anhui Province on a High-Speed Train”, and etc.

Anhui Province is located in the Middle East of China, its area is 140 thousand square meters, population - 70 million people (Bashkiria: 143 thousand sq. km, 4.05 million people). The administrative center and largest city is Hefei. The priority areas of the region’s economy are agriculture, mechanical engineering, and technology. Anhui is also a popular tourist destination.
