Rescuers assisted lost tourists in Beloretsky district of Bashkiria

Early on the morning of August 2, nine tourists drove off their ATVs from the recreation center in the village of Iskushta, Beloretsky District towards Atysh waterfall; there were no children among them. Tourists were supposed to return to the base on the evening of August 3, but they failed to get in touch. The tourist group was not registered with the EMERCOM of Russia.

Rescuers departed for the search of tourists. In the evening of August 4, two tourists reached the recreation center on their own and reported that, due to a rise in the water level in the Lemeza River, they decided to go around. On the way, they ran out of gasoline, and the group set off on foot. A car was sent to meet the remaining tourists, and that very evening, the whole group returned to the base. Tourists did not require medical assistance.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan once again recalls that before going on a trip, it is necessary to register with the authorities of the EMERCOM of Russia no later than ten working days before the trip.
