Radiy Khabirov and Nyuta Federmesser discussed hospice construction in Ufa

UFA, 2 August 2019. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
In Ufa, in a year and a half, a hospice with an adult department for 30 beds and a children's department for 20 beds will start working. The construction of a palliative care institution was taken under the personal control of the Acting Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov. This was reported to the press by the founder of the “Vera” hospice charity foundation, director of the Moscow multi-specialized palliative care center, member of the Central headquarters of the All-Russia People’s Front Nyuta Federmesser after a meeting with the head of the region.
“This is a timely and very humane decision. It is delightful that it was not adopted just at the meeting, but worked out and formed beforehand”, Nyuta Federmesser said. “In Bashkortostan, it will be the second hospice in Russia, built from scratch, which will help to avoid many mistakes already at the design stage. This is a unique opportunity to use all the experience gained in the country. ”
According to her, the hospice is created primarily for those who are near the terminally ill, their families and relatives: “Without the help of the hospice, they feel guilty and very unhappy. It is the only type of medical and social institution that attracts philanthropists, social activists, and famous people. It is a place of strength and love concentration”.
