Passenger traffic at Ufa airport grew by eight percent in six months

In the first half of the year, the Ufa Airport served more than 1.6 million people, the growth of passenger traffic was eight percent, the press service of the air hub reports. The number of sorties for this period increased by five percent. Total flight regularity increased by 1.8 percent and reached 92.7 percent.

In the second quarter, Ufa airport served 919.6 thousand people, which is 9% more than in the same period of 2018. In particular, domestic flights traffic increased by 11 percent, international transport showed an increase of two percent.

The most popular international destinations in the second quarter were Antalya, Dalaman, and Sanya, among the domestic directions - Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhnevartovsk.

The leaders in the number of transported passengers were UTair, Aeroflot, and S7 Airlines.

At the end of 2018, the passenger traffic at Ufa Airport reached a record level of 3.241 million passengers.

This year, the company predicts quite similar figures.
