Bashkortostan universities will prepare civil servants

The issues of training specialists for public service in higher education institutions of the region were discussed the day before at the regional reception office of the President of Russia at a coordination meeting chaired by the Chief Federal Inspector for the Republic of Bashkortostan Mikhail Zakomaldin.
Currently, there is a need to open new training programs for managers focused on the national projects identified by the President of the Russian Federation, as well as to create broader conditions for grant support to university departments that train personnel in the field of public management, the meeting participants stated. A more developed mechanism of targeted and continuous education, according to the Ministry of Education RB, can be a solution to the personnel problem for government agencies of all levels.
The meeting also discussed issues of compliance with the requirements of the legislation and decisions of the President of the Russian Federation on road safety.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the republic, in the first half of this year, more than 1,700 road accidents were registered, in which 178 people died. Bashkortostan has developed a set of measures aimed at ensuring road safety and reducing road mortality. In particular, an increase in the number of fixed complexes of automatic speed cameras on highways is an essential aspect of reducing the number of fatalities in traffic accidents is. By the end of 2019, it is planned to install another 289 modern complexes, and their total number will reach thousands in 2020.
Due to the implementation of the "Safe and High-Quality Roads" national project in Bashkiria, work is now underway on the construction, repair and reconstruction of 150 sites. As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, in the first six months of this year, over 3.7 thousand road signs were replaced on regional and inter-municipal roads of Bashkiria, and more than 2.3 thousand new ones were installed.
