Moscow specialists train Bashkiria doctors air medical service methods in Ufa

In Ufa, the educational cycle of advanced thematic training for doctors “Sanitary-Aviation Evacuation of Patients” is taking place at the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital. Lectures and master classes are conducted by the staff of the All-Russian Center for Disaster Medicine "Zaschita" of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

Medical specialists will learn the methods of quickly transporting the sick and injured when the severity of their condition requires it, including using state-of-the-art medical equipment.

Yesterday participants were also offered master classes in first aid techniques and skills while treating victims of accidents. Aleksey Starkov, the Deputy Head of the Methodological Department for the Provision of Training for Specialists in the Aviation Medical Teams "Zaschita" and the Chief Specialist of the Department Pavel Popov taught Ufa specialists how to place patients on the plane. In turn, the Bashkir specialists shared their experience and organization of the air medical service in the republic.
