Mortality rate decreased in Bashkiria for six months of 2019

A decrease in mortality was observed in Bashkortostan in the first six months of this year, according to the Ministry of Health RB. From the beginning of the year, this indicator in the republic was 12.2 per mille, which is 0.2 less than last year. The total mortality rate is calculated as the ratio of the total number of deaths to the average annual population. This ratio is multiplied by 1000 and is measured in per mille. In almost all countries, the birth rate and mortality rate are measured in units per 1000 population.

According to the report by the Interim Minister of Health of Bashkortostan Maxim Zabelin at the next “Healthcare Hour” the day before, if we consider the figures in quantitative terms, then for the first half of this year, it was possible to save 1,598 human lives more. Total for the first half of the year, 24,380 people died in the republic.
