"Three-star hotel" for pets opened in Bashkiria

On July 15, the first “Zoodom” state pet hostel opened in Bashkiria in Sterlitamak. In the “three star hotel” for pets, there are 12 standard rooms, three luxury, and two junior suites. It employs highly qualified specialists. They feed animals, walk and communicate with them, monitor their health and cleanliness. Pet owners can watch their pets online, as there is video surveillance in the rooms.

Azat Ziganshin, head of the Veterinary Department RB, noted that the idea of ​​opening a zoo hostel emerged during working visits to Russian regions.

“After getting acquainted with the work of colleagues, a clear understanding was formed about future zoo hostels. The need to introduce this practice in the republic is very relevant since many pet owners often have a problem when planning a holiday or departure when it is necessary to leave a four-legged friend for one reason or another temporarily, ”the department head said.

The Sterlitamak inter-district veterinary station supported the idea. For a short period, the station has created all the conditions for the temporary accommodation of animals.

A clinic is located near the hostel. It has the latest specialized equipment for the treatment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of animals. It offers a full range of veterinary services, programs for the prevention of diseases in animals: vaccination, follow-up examination, monitoring during pregnancy, advice on the care and maintenance of pets, electronic microchipping of animals, diagnostic imaging methods (ultrasound), outpatient procedures , intensive care, surgery, registration of veterinary documents.
