Delegation of Socialist Republic of Vietnam visited USPTU

On July 12, a delegation from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam headed by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Head of the External Relations Department of the Central Committee of the CPV Hoang Binh Kuan visited Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (Ufa State Petroleum Technological University).

The guests met with the Rector of the USPTU Ramil Bakhtisin and Vietnamese university students, visited the USPTU library, Angola and Vietnam lecture halls, examined the laboratories of the university. The rector told the guests about the university and education programs.

“USPTU has rather close relations with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The university has extensive experience in training specialist for your country: currently, 174 citizens of Vietnam have graduated, 13 people have passed Ph.D. defense. This academic year 53 Vietnamese students study at the university. The guys who came to study at USPTU from Vietnam are among the most diligent of our students. They are actively involved in almost all areas of university life”, Ramil Bakhtizin said.

Hoang Binh Kuan thanked the university for training highly skilled oil and gas personnel for Vietnam. He expressed the hope that the delegation would come to USPTU more than once.

Ufa State Petroleum Technical University has long-term friendly relations with Vietnam: the university has been cooperating with Petrovietnam and Vietsovpetro corporations for more than 20 years; Petrovietnam Petroleum University is a partner of USPTU.
