Russian State Circus Company plans to invest 1 billion rubles in Ufa circus reconstruction

All residents of the republic are really concerned about the fate of the Ufa circus. It was stated by the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov during a meeting with the Acting Director General of the Russian State Circus Company, Vladimir Shemyakin. At a meeting in the House of the Republic, the issues of reconstruction of the Ufa State Circus building and the circus art development were discussed, the press service of the head of the region reports.

“We are really concerned about the further fate of our state circus. Moreover, people constantly ask us about it, ”said Radiy Khabirov. “Certainly, we hope for your support in this matter. It is essential that we re-launch this important facility in such a million-plus city as Ufa”.

Vladimir Shemyakin said that the Russian State Circus Company had developed a procedure by which it is planned to reconstruct the building of the Ufa circus. This issue was also discussed with the Minister of Culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky, who supported the project.

Our republic is supposed to undertake the costs of preparing the necessary design documentation for the reconstruction of the building and auxiliary premises, as well as to improve the adjacent territory. The reconstruction itself will be carried out at the expense of Russian State Circus Company funds. The estimated cost of the work will be about 1 billion rubles.

According to the head of the Chief of Staff of the Head of Bashkiria, Alexander Sidyakin, it is proposed to create a park zone next to the circus.
