Decrease in roads accidents recorded in Bashkiria

1707 automobile accidents were registered in Bashkortostan for six months. They killed 178 people, 2175 people suffered various injuries.

“A decline in all three indicators was observed”, says Dinar Gilmutdinov, the chief car inspector of Bashkiria, on his Facebook page. Almost half of the accidents and injuries are registered in Ufa. The greatest severity of the consequences falls on Tuymazinsky district, where eighteen people died in accidents. In Iglinsky district, thirteen people died from injuries sustained in accidents, twelve in Ufa. More than half, 91 people, died in car collisions. This type of accident also is accounted for most of all accidents and people injured in them. 41 people died beneath the wheels of the car, 25 people were killed when cars overturned.
