Radiy Khabirov inspected park and pedestrian walking areas of Sterlitamak

It was always paid special attention to the improvement of park zones in Sterlitamak. Every year the number of landscaped public spaces in the city is growing. An excellent example of the parks' renewal is a public garden named after Marshal of the Soviet Union Georgy Zhukov, opened in 2005 to the 60th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The Acting Head of the republic Radiy Khabirov during a walk through the public garden said that he used Sterlitamak's experience as an example when he worked in Krasnogorsk.

Radiy Khabirov asked which city parks would be improved this year. According to Vladimir Kulikov, the mayor of Sterlitamak, works are being carried out in Sodovik Park and at Sterley River Embankment, which includes pedestrian, jogging, cycling paths, children's camps, sports grounds, and other functional areas. A modernization of the Samovar spring will be carried out. Besides, original gazebos, swings, and art objects will appear at the embankment.

Radiy Khabirov also examined the territory of the “Old Town” park zone. A large walking area in the historic part of the city was landscaped in Sterlitamak, the park is in first place in terms of attendance. A 10-meter granite stele with beautiful night illumination opens the entrance to the pedestrian zone. A bronze bas-relief is placed around the stele in its lower part, reflecting the main stages of the city’s development: the salt pier, the merchant's Sterlitamak and the modern city. The old fountain is replaced by a modern dynamically lit fountain, which reproduces up to 20 different combinations of water jets. The historical part of the city is also decorated with large-sized trees of valuable species.
