Ufa bike traveler Anton Sazonov reached Belgorod

Anton Sazonov, the Ufa bike traveler continues the «Children of the World» expedition. Last year, he rode a bike through Central and Southeast Asia. Now Anton is heading westwards - to Lisbon. The cyclist will have to pass through 11 countries, 6000 kilometers. He has already completed 1,800 km of the route Ufa-Samara-Saratov-Novy Oskol. Having left Ufa on June 12, today the traveler reached the Belgorod region, bordering Ukraine.

Anton Sazonov carries with him about 300 letters from Russian schoolchildren from Ufa, Sterlitamak, Samara, Saratov, Izhevsk to their peers from European countries. The main idea of ​​the expedition is to combine cycling around the world with the mission of delivering letters by Russian schoolchildren.

“I ask them to write about openness, equality, universal values because these things are the same for all people on earth. I also ask them to write in letters about the places where we live, about Bashkiria, about Russia and its other regions, ”says Anton Sazonov. “The guys wrote in different languages ​​- English, French, German, depending on which country was chosen by the addressee. According to schoolchildren, writing paper messages turned out to be interesting, because this is how “the atmosphere is transmitted”.

More than a dozen Ufa schools take part in the campaign, among them gymnasium No. 39, Lyceum No. 106, Bashkir Lyceum No. 136, school No. 71, and others.

The project is being implemented under the auspices of UNESCO with the support of the Bashkir Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, using the grant funds from the President of the Russian Federation.
