All Bashkiria universities hit 200 best Russian universities rating

All universities of Bashkortostan are included in the Top 200 universities in Russia. This was announced at a briefing session in the Government RB by the Interim Deputy Prime Minister Lenara Ivanova.

Thus, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU) took the 5th place among technical universities, Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU) - 35th place. Bashkir Agrarian University is in 4th place among agricultural universities.

Bashkir State Pedagogical University took the 12th place among universities for teachers. Bashkir Medical University (BSMU) is in the 11th position among medical educational institutions. Bashkir State University was 17th among the classical universities.

The rating of universities "National Recognition" is published on the website univer.expert. As indicated on the website, the main principle of the “National Recognition” rating is to assess a university through its core teaching staff. The universal criterion of the quality of the scientific and pedagogical staff is the recognition by the national (Russian) professional community of its scientific, innovative, and scientific and practical achievements. The creators of the rating did not take into account the average score of the Unified State Exam of the enrolled students, data on the average salary after graduation, numerous activities (competitions, scientific conferences, etc.) held at the university.

Earlier, Bashinform reported that the RAEX rating agency issued a rating of the 100 best universities in Russia, questioning for this purpose more than 50 thousand students from 158 universities in the country. The list of the best included three Bashkiria universities: USPTU took the 56th place, BSMU – the 65th, USATU - the 99th.
