Radiy Khabirov: collection of payments for garbage disposal is not more than 30% in Bashkiria

The collection of payments for the MSW removal in Bashkiria is no more than 30%. The Acting Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov stated this in an interview with "Interfax".

Besides, Radiy Khabirov admitted that regional operators did not have correct lists of residents who should receive bills for garbage collection. At the same time, the population is displeased, because they receive bills addressed to deceased relatives.

Currently, Bashkiria assesses the need and volume of garbage containers purchase. 1.5 billion rubles are allocated for these purposes in the region.

In addition, Bashkiria cooperates with the new structure - the “Russian Environmental Operator” (REO). According to Radiy Khabirov, the operator’s CEO Denis Batsuev has already arrived in the republic.

“We are interested in leasing purchases of waste processing equipment. We have already filed applications, we are looking forward to a decision on them as we need such equipment, ” the Acting Head of Bashkiria marked.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, the head of the republic Radiy Khabirov was appointed curator in the Volga Federal District on environmental education and training.
