The allowance for children from one and a half to three years will be increased from the current 50 rubles to 10 thousand rubles. Low-income families will receive it. It is reported by Interfax, citing Prime Minister RF Dmitry Medvedev.
“It was decided to increase assistance to low-income families with children from one and a half to three years of age. They will receive more than 10 thousand rubles per child instead of 50 rubles a month,” said Dmitry Medvedev.
According to him, a bill has now been prepared on raising the criteria for families in need from one and a half to two minimum subsistence minimums per person in order to increase the number of those who can receive monthly support from the state for their first and second children.
