Ambulance service has catastropic personnel shortage

Since October 2018, 27 people left the Ambulance Station in Bashkortostan, and during this time not a single specialist was employed to a vacancy. It was announced at a briefing session in the Government by the Interim Minister of Health of the region Maxim Zabelin.

“It is a disaster for such a small team as the Ambulance Station to have a shortage of 27 people,” said the Acting Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov. “Therefore, take measures and remedy the situation so that it does not affect the quality of the services provided.”

According to the head of the republican Ministry of Health, Maxim Zabelin, the time of arrival and medical assistance are provided in accordance with state guarantees.

“However, the team is small in ambulance service. We can envisage a separate program for it, especially in rural areas ”, said Radiy Khabirov.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency over the past five months, more than 230 doctors were involved in regional healthcare.
