196 pilgrims will undertake the hajj from Bashkiria. This was announced by the head of the Council for State-Confessional Relations under the Head of Bashkortostan, Vyacheslav Pyatkov, at a meeting on the hajj issues.
Four groups of 49 people each will depart from Ufa with a leader who speaks Arabic, Russian, Tatar and Bashkir languages. A Turkish Airlines aircraft with eight-hour connections in Istanbul will take pilgrims to Sharjah and from there by bus to the pilgrimage site. Departures are scheduled for July 26, 28, 29, 31.
The average price of a trip from the official "Bulgar-tour" operator is 180 thousand rubles.
According to the CEO of the company Islam Davydov, in 2019, the hajj increased in price by an average of $250 due to the value-added tax introduced in Saudi Arabia, an increase in the tourist charge by 7.5 percent, and the increase in fuel prices.
Pilgrims are expected to return on August 20, 22, 23 and 25.
The total quota allocated by Saudi Arabia for Russia for the hajj of 2019 is 20,500. Also, the Hajj mission of Russia requested an additional quota for five thousand people due to an increase in the number of people willing to do it.
