Eid al-Fitr holiday took place in Ufa

The republican Eid al-Fitr celebrations were held in the "Vatan" Ethnic Park on June 4.

A concert with the participation of well-known pop singers and groups, a halal fair, a prize draw took place for the guests of the festival, as well as everyone could taste pilaf and tea free of charge. This is reported by the press service of the Ufa City Hall.

In addition to the "Vatan" Ethnic Park, the "Children's Eid al-Fitr" was also held in front of the Bashkiria shopping mall.

The Eid al-Fitr –marks the end of the fast during the holy month of Ramadan. It is the second most important after Eid al-Adha – a feast of sacrifice. In Bashkortostan, as in several other regions of Russia - Adygea, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Tatarstan, Chechnya, the holiday is an official non-working day. In the morning, festive divine services were held in all Ufa mosques.

Radiy Khabirov, the Acting Head of Bashkiria, visited the Ufa Cathedral Mosque "Lyalya-Tyulpan". He took part in the common prayer and talked with the parishioners of the mosque.
