Bashkiria - leader in number of winners of presidential grant competition in Volga Federal District

According to the results of the first contest in 2019 for the grants distribution of the President of the Russian Federation among non-profit organizations, Bashkortostan is among the leaders of the Volga Federal District in the number of winners. As reported earlier by the agency, 38 projects of non-profits of the republic will receive grants in the amount of 44.8 million rubles. Last year, this amount was equal to 32.5 million rubles.
The greatest number of winners from our region received up to 500 thousand rubles (19 projects), from 500 to 3 million rubles (8 projects), more than 3 million (one project). The most significant grant - 7 million 900 thousand rubles was won by the “Poter Net” project of the Charity Foundation for Seriously Ill Children - “Charity rental of medical equipment for children in need of palliative care“.
Organizations of the Republic of Bashkortostan were among the most active non-profit organizations, said the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation to the Volga Federal District, Igor Komarov.
Besides, the Volga Federal District is the second in the country in terms of the number of winners and the amount of funding allocated. Out of 1857 projects submitted for the competition from non-profit organizations of the Volga Federal District regions, every fifth will receive a grant from the President of Russia. 337 applications were satisfied. The total amount of funding for projects is 513.8 million rubles. This is 81 million more than last year.
Total, the list of winners of the presidential grants contest included 1,644 non-profit organizations from 84 regions of the country in 2019. 3.3 billion rubles will be distributed between them. The largest in terms of the number of winners were the following areas: public health, a healthy lifestyle promotion; support of projects in the field of culture and art; preservation of historical memory.
June 10 the second contest of presidential grants starts in 2019. Applications will be accepted until July 31. You can also submit applications from October 14 to November 25 (for the first contest of 2020).
