USPTU Rector took part in 1st Forum of Russian and Vietnamese Universities Rectors in Hanoi

The year 2019 is declared the Cross Year of Russia in Vietnam and Vietnam in Russia. The first and one of the most significant events of the year was the Forum of Rectors of Russian and Vietnamese Universities, held on May 28 in Hanoi at the University of Economics and National Economy. The main objective of the forum is to promote the expansion of scientific and educational cooperation between the two countries, the preservation and development of a single academical space.

The forum was attended by rectors and vice-rectors of 29 Russian and 35 Vietnamese universities.

The Rector Ramil Bakhtizin represented our Ufa State Petroleum Technological University. He delivered a report in which he described the broad prospects and opportunities for USPTU and Vietnamese universities through their cooperation.

As part of the business program of the Forum, a cooperation agreement was signed between the USPTU and the Polytechnic University of Ho Chi Minh City. Also, a business meeting was held with the Vice-Rector of the University of Petrovietnam, with which USPTU has already signed a cooperation agreement.
