Footage of Elon Mask Starlink satellites train was shot in Bashkiria

Residents of Bashkiria shot an unusual phenomenon of how a “Starlink” train of 60 communication satellites is moving across the night sky. They were launched into space by Elon Mask SpaceX on May 24.

In space, the satellites lined up in a chain. Because of the low height above the ground, everyone could observe them. An amateur astronomer from Bashkortostan Noumenom watched the “train” from the city of Belebey on the night of May 26th.

Recall that the Elon Mask’s company launched satellites into space to provide all the inhabitants of the Earth access to broadband Internet. The launch took place from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral in the state of Florida, the USA on Friday, May 24, at 5.30 Moscow time. After the start, the first stage of the rocket successfully sat on a floating platform called “Of Course I Still Love You”. The company noted that this was the third consecutive successful landing of the first stage.

The Starlink satellite network is designed to provide the inhabitants of the Earth with a global Internet with broadband access: even residents of the most remote part of our planet will be able to use it. The project is being developed by Space X since 2015; the first miniature prototype satellites were launched into orbit last February. By the mid-2020s, there should be about 12,000 satellites.
