Over 800 delegates will take part in 5th Civil Forum of Bashkiria

“More than 800 people have already submitted applications for participation in the 5th Civil Forum of the Republic of Bashkortostan,” Olga Panchikhina, the chairman of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Bashkortostan, said at a press conference at Bashinform News Agency.
The Civil Forum will be held at the Congress Hall “Toratau” in Ufa on May 27. It will be devoted to the 100th anniversary of the republic’s foundation and the 10th anniversary of the regional Public Chamber.
According to Olga Panchikhina, officially, more than 12 thousand people work in the sphere of non-profit organizations, over four thousand are outsourced specialists. Almost 1 million people receive help from non-profit organizations (data for 2018).
The program of the forum provides for the work of thirteen major thematic sites. It is planned to sign long-term agreements between public chambers of the subjects of the Volga Federal District.
Master classes will be held on the study of crowdfunding tools to support social initiatives, enhance the role of community councils, the interaction of non-profits and the media, and first aid training from the regional branch of the Red Cross will be held.
One of the discussions will be devoted to countering school bullying. According to experts, today thirteen percent of Russian children are victims at school, 20 percent are in the role of aggressors.
