On May 7, 2019, a decree was signed in Bashkortostan on the allocation of incentive measures in the amount of 125 million rubles to highly specialized doctors: neonatologists, obstetrician-gynecologists, neurosurgeons, cardiologists, neurologists, gastroenterologists.
“First of all, we plan to attract specialists to our inter-municipal centers and the Central Regional Hospital,” the Interim Minister of Health of the region Maxim Zabelin marked.
Priority will be given to graduates of Bashkir State Medical University. However, the department, on behalf of the Acting Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, informed all medical universities located in the European part of the Russian Federation about the incentive measures in force in the region.
“Additionally, representatives of the ministry and chief doctors of inter-municipal hospitals are scheduled to travel to neighboring regions: Orenburg, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, as well as they will make visits to major medical universities in the country - Voronezh, Samara, Moscow, St. Petersburg. We will hold meetings with potential graduates of universities and clinical residencies, ”assured Maxim Zabelin.
In addition to the financial incentives, measures of social support will be provided in Bashkortostan: the provision of housing, compensation for the utility payment, travel expenses, and others.
That is, a young doctor or an already experienced doctor will receive one million rubles (under the Zemsky Doctor program), benefits, places for children in preschool institutions, employment of a spouse upon taking office in Bashkiria.
According to the head of the republican Ministry of Health, leaders have emerged in attracting highly specialized doctors to Bashkiria - these are Tuymazy, Ishimbay, Sibay. Also, according to statistics, last year alone, 280 doctors received either housing or land for individual construction.
As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, eight children's clinics will be built and reconstructed in the framework of the national project "Health" in the republic.
