Fountains are launched in Ufa

The season of fountains has started in Ufa.

Festive entertainment programs dedicated to launching of fountains were organized for Ufa residents and guests of the city. On April 30, fountains were launched in Musty Karim Square, in the squares in front of the Iskra cinema and Sergo Ordzhonikidze square, the mayor’s press service reports.

The fountain launching ceremony was held at Salavat Yulaev Square near the Congress Hall “Toratau”, where participants of teen clubs, students and teachers of N. Sabitov musical school No. 1 gave their performances. All the guests took part in a Zumba master class at the end of the event.

In Lenin Park, near the fountains, active citizens participated in the district chess and draughts tournament. All participants were awarded gifts and medals. The festive program was also organized in Theater Square near the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater, where the Seven Girls fountain is located.

The opening of the fountain in the Pervomaysky Culture and Recreation Park took place as part of the “Legend about the LifeSpring” theatrical site. In Demsky district, a fountain was launched in a square near the Orion Children's and Youth Creativity Palace.

In the capital of Bashkiria, there are 20 fountains: in front of the Iskra cinema (October Avenue, 94); the "Orion" creativity center (Tallinskaya Street, 17), Ufa City Civil Registry Office (October Avenue, 180), in Pravdy Street, in Dzerzhinsky Park,in Dostoevsky Street, in front of the Youth Palace (21, 50 Let Oktyabrya), in Two Fountains Square (62 Lenin Street), in Hudayberdin Square, in Salavat Yulaev Square, in Nureyev Square, in the territory of the Aigul hotel (34, Zaki Validi Street), in Lenin Park, in Yakutov Park, in front of the Rodina cinema (42, Lenin Street), in Mustai Karim Public Garden, in Theater Square, in Pervomayskaya Alley, in the territory of the Ufa Arena Ice Sports Palace (114 Lenina Street) and in front of the "Bashkortostan" State Concert Hall (Lenin St., 50).
