Tourist May Day in Bashkiria: at least 1.2 thousand people went hiking

On May 1, 1199 tourists, who registered with the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, went hiking in Bashkiria. One hundred twenty-four of them were children. These are 90 groups on 73 water and 17 hiking routes.

Tourists traveling both independently and in groups are required to register ten working days before the start of the hike, notify the departure time and confirm the information within 24 hours, the Emergency Situations Ministry reminds. At the end of the trip, the tourist should report on their return. This is necessary to coordinate with the rescue services and the safety of tourists, the emergency department explained.
