8 thousand people took part in trade union May Day meeting in Ufa

In Ufa, in front of the Russian Drama Theater, a May Day rally "For Fair Economy in the Interests of Working People" was held. About 8 thousand trade union members took part in it, the mayor’s office reported. “May Day is the International Day of Solidarity and the Struggle for Labor Rights for the Russian trade union movement. This is a celebration of unity, solidarity of all workers,” commented on the Federation of Trade Unions of Bashkiria.

The Chairman of the Bashkiria Parliament Konstantin Tolkachev congratulated the residents of Bashkiria on behalf of the Acting Head of the republic Radiy Khabirov. At the end of the rally, a resolution was adopted, and then a gala concert was held with the participation of artists and creative teams of the city and the republic.
