Fireworks will be launched in Ufa in honor of May 9

The capital of Bashkortostan will mark the holiday of May 9 with mass celebrations, a Victory Parade, and fireworks. The festive fireworks will start at 10 p.m. at Lenin Square.

The ceremonial march of military units of the Ufa Territorial Garrison, institutions of law enforcement agencies, cadets of educational institutions and columns of military equipment starts at 10 am.

“A nationwide “Minute of Silence ”will be announced from 11 to 11.10 a.m. The phonogram of the “Requiem” poem by Robert Rozhdestvensky and the sounds of the “Alarm” siren will sound”, it was reported at a briefing session in the city administration.

The “Immortal Regiment” will begin a march along October Avenue from the intersection with the Galle City Street to Shota Rustaveli at 11.10 a.m.

Festive concerts, contests, sports events will begin at 12.30 pm.
